Danger is constant in the world of Vex 3. As the player, your objective is to navigate through the map and try to avoid the traps on your way to the different levels or acts. Each act features puzzles that you should solve in order to complete the level. Some of these traps will be easy to dodge. A well-timed jump, roll, or dodge will keep you on your track. Timing and quick maneuvers are key to your survival when you face trap after deadly trap. Controlling your stick man character is easy (use your WASD or the arrow keys), but completing the acts is a challenge. Some hazards are mobile while others are stationary. Before trying to the moving traps, take a second to learn their movement pattern and act accordingly. Many of them will require more than one try. That's where checkpoints play an important part. The flagpoles you see scattered around the level act as checkpoints. You can revive at your currently active checkpoint. Only one checkpoint can be active at a time. In some acts, you will need a key to open a door to advance. Getting those keys is not easy. Keep your attention on your surroundings and you'll survive.
